On 20 October 2016, the promotion event for “In City Golf” Vienna 2017 took place directly in front of the Vienna City Hall. Markus Brier, ex-ski jumper Stefan Thrunbichler, World Championship medalist Markus Maukner, and the ÖGV player Emma Spitz used the unique opportunity to play from the Figures Gallery on a 300m2 Brilliant8 green.
Emma Spitz won the competition against her male competitors.

With the contest, Kurt Anrather, the creator and organizer of the “In City Golf” event series, gave the starting shot for the main event which will take place on 14-15 April 2017. Then 72 invited guests can golf through the whole city of Vienna. Nine breathtaking holes will be located on the Rathausplatz and a further nine will lead through the center of Vienna. Passing the National Opera and St. Stephen’s Cathedral, it will bring the players into typical Viennese streets.

Kurt Anrather, Erfinder von In City Golf, wurde letzte Woche der wohlbekannte Premio Museo Privato Bisagno für In City Golf verliehen.
Nach Marco Masardi (2011) und Franco Chimenti (2012), wurde heuer dem Südtiroler die Ehre zu Teil den wohl wichtigsten Preis im italienischen Golf entgegen zu nehmen.

Dank der Partnerschaft mit der DIGA, dem Präsidenten Antonio Stock und seinem Vize Pietro Bucciarelli, wird In City Golf in naher Zukunft seine Zelte in Rom aufschlagen.

Gemeinsam mit der DIGA, werden wir in Zukunft ein 18 Hole Event im Inneren (und auch außerhalb) der schönsten und wichtigsten Botschaften, mit Sitz in Rom, organisieren.

Sechs Löcher im kleinen italienischen Tibet: Livigno. Zwischen See und Shopping Straße fand die erste Ausgabe von In City Golf Livigno statt. Unter den Teilnehmern war unter anderem der bike trail Profi Vittorio Brumotti, Giorgia Palmas, die Skifahrer Giorgio Rocca und Roberto Nani und unter anderen Fahrer vom Radteam Saxo-Tinkoff, die sich in Livigno auf die Vuelta vorbereiten.

„Dank dieser Veranstaltung – sagte Luca Moretti, Präsident von APT Livigno – haben wir offiziell die Golfsaison auf unserem Golfübungsplatz eingeweiht. Es handelt sich dabei um eine sehr innovative Anlage und ein modernes Konzept, die das Golfspiel ohne Einschränkungen und vor allem geeignet für diejenigen, die das Golfen lernen möchten ermöglicht.“

Am Nachmittag fand zudem die erste Ausgabe der Livigno Golf Open in der Golf Training Area statt, die von unseren Partnern Brilliant8 gebaut wurde.
